\u00c9g er \u00e1kaflega stolt a\u00f0 kynna \u00farslitin \u00ed h\u00f6nnunarsamkeppninni sem \u00e9g st\u00f3\u00f0 fyrir \u00ed tilefni \u00feess a\u00f0 Sameinu\u00f0u \u00fej\u00f3\u00f0irnar tilnefndu \u00e1ri\u00f0 2026 sem \u00e1r kvenb\u00f3ndans. Vinningshafar voru kynntir og ver\u00f0launa\u00f0ir vi\u00f0 h\u00e1t\u00ed\u00f0lega ath\u00f6fn laugardaginn 20. j\u00fan\u00ed.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00c9g var svo \u00e1n\u00e6g\u00f0 yfir \u00fe\u00e1ttt\u00f6kunni og \u00farslitunum. TUTTUGU-OG-FJ\u00d3RAR peysur b\u00e1rust \u00ed keppnina fr\u00e1 12 prj\u00f3nurum, j\u00e1, sumir sendu fleiri en eina peysu :-) og peysurnar voru fj\u00f6lbreyttar og fallegar og mig langar a\u00f0 prj\u00f3na \u00fe\u00e6r allar. S\u00f6gurnar sem fylgdu voru l\u00edka dj\u00fapt hugsa\u00f0ar og s\u00fdndu inns\u00fdn \u00ed l\u00edf kvenb\u00e6nda \u00e1 \u00cdslandi.<\/strong><\/p>\n

H\u00e9r eru myndir af vinningspeysunum.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first one is the winning sweater. It is designed and knitted by Helga Linnet. The name of the sweater is \u00cd uppsveitum, which could be translated to; “At the highland farms” It has a cable in the front and buttons both on the collar and the sleeves. Buttoning down the collar gives an elegant look, where as having it buttoned up gives a warm and cosy feeling to the neck. The sleeves can be buttoned up to the elbow, which gives a possibilty to do “job that gets your hand dirty, like helping a sheep give birth.” as noted in the description that followed from the designer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00cd \u00f6\u00f0ru s\u00e6ti og einnig valin best af \u00e1horfendum er peysan \u00dej\u00f3\u00f0bl\u00f3m, prj\u00f3nu\u00f0 og h\u00f6nnu\u00f0 af B\u00e1ru Gunnarsd\u00f3ttur. Bl\u00f3min \u00e1 peysunni v\u00edsa til bl\u00f3manna sem eru \u00e1 \u00edslenska skautb\u00faningnum og hnapparnir vi\u00f0 axlirnar eiga tilv\u00edsun \u00ed gulln\u00e6luna sem notu\u00f0 er me\u00f0 b\u00faningnum. Gyllta garni\u00f0 handlita\u00f0i h\u00f6nnu\u00f0urinn sj\u00e1lf.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Third was Kart\u00f6flupeysan or “The Potato Sweater” designed and knitted by Valger\u00f0ur Gar\u00f0arsd\u00f3ttir. As a description was a poem that tells us how strong and special the potato is, just as woman farmer is strong and special.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Last but not least, we have the sweater, designed and knitted by Ragnhei\u00f0ur Gu\u00f0mundsd\u00f3ttir, Vatn \u00ed leysingum, which can translate to “Thawing Waters” and imitates how water can flow in the spring when snow and ice is melting. This sweater was chosen to be the most original one by the judges group.<\/strong><\/p>\n

D\u00f3marar voru \u00ferj\u00e1r konur, \u00fe\u00e6r Hildur Sveinsd\u00f3ttir, Laufey Haraldsd\u00f3ttir og Sigr\u00fan Helga Indri\u00f0ad\u00f3ttir. \u00de\u00e6r voru ekki \u00f6fundsver\u00f0ar a\u00f0 finna \u00fat hva\u00f0a peysur \u00e6ttu a\u00f0 bera sigur \u00far b\u00fdtum, en \u00fe\u00e6r st\u00f3\u00f0u sig lj\u00f3mandi vel.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mig langar a\u00f0 \u00f3ska \u00f6llum h\u00f6nnu\u00f0unum til hamingju me\u00f0 fallegu peysurnar \u00feeirra. Vel gert! Og vinningsh\u00f6fum fyrir fram\u00farskarandi vinnu.
