Hulduband – Dyed

Hulduband (hidden woman yarn) is 2 ply in aran weight and 200 meters are 100 grams (218yards per 3.527oz). Needle size 4,0 to 5,0 mm is recommended and the gauge for 4,5mm is 18 sts and 24 rounds for 10cm (3,94 inch).

Buying yarn online with Uppspuni is a little different – because every batch of yarn we make is a little different.

We don’t bleach our fleeces to standardise colors in either our natural or our dyed yarns. Every batch of yarn is unique because every sheep fleece is unique.

Because of this, we  suggest you buy enough for your project from the same batch, as no two batches are ever exactly the same.
