Wool Week 2026 Hat Kits

The 2026 South Iceland Wool Week official hat is designed by Helga Thoroddsen for Uppspuni’s Dís yarn.

The kit comes with two or three colors and the pattern can be downloaded for free from www.ullarvikan.is The hat is knitted with two or more colours – one main colour and one or more pattern colour(‘s). When buying the kit, the pattern is included in the shipped package.
Here you can see few possibilities to work your hat with, but if you want other colours, you can email us and we will help you put together the colours you like.

On 27th of September to 3rd of October, 2026 we celebrate Wool Week in South Iceland for the fourth time.

Wool Week happens every two years. We at Uppspuni are proud to be one of the organizers of the South Iceland Wool Week, along with other enthusiastic wool lovers in the South of Iceland. The goal of the Wool Week is to enjoy the week with other producers and fans of the Icelandic Wool, learn about it’s quality, how to process it and teach and learn about all the amazing things that can be made with wool.
