Dís – Dyed

Dís er alltaf unnin úr lambsull. Dísin er tvinnað, fínlegt band þar sem 100 grömm gefa um 440 metra af garni. Æskileg prjónastærð er á bilinu 1,5 til 3,5, með prjónfestu 25 lykkjur og 32 umferðir sem 10x10 cm við prjónastærð 3,0.
In each ball of coloured dís are 75 meters of yarn.

Buying yarn online with Uppspuni is a little different – because every batch of yarn we make is a little different.

We don’t bleach our fleeces to standardise colors in either our natural or our dyed yarns. Every batch of yarn is unique because every sheep fleece is unique.

Because of this, we  suggest you buy enough for your project from the same batch, as no two batches are ever exactly the same.
